UPDATE: Gate Canyon Road “Improvement”

Representatives from the Nine Mile Canyon Coalition are planning to attend the Permanent Community Impact Fund Board (CIB) Meeting on Thursday June 1, 2003. This meeting is scheduled to occur at the Hideout Community Center in Monticello, Utah at 9:00 am. We plan to speak against the proposed funding (~$3,000,000) earmarked for the Duchesne County Special Service District which would be allocated towards the Gate Canyon Road Improvement project – Phase 1.
